    Do you have Norton antivirus installed? If so try uninstalling Norton in Safe mode and see if the problem goes away. If so then install the latest version of Norton.

    To get to safe mode:

    At the login screen, hold the Shift key and select Restart from the power menu button (bottom right).
    When the PC restarts, on the blue screen. Select Troubleshoot.
    Click Advanced options then Startup options
    Restart
    Select Safe Mode option

    See if there is a Windows 10 graphics driver or BIOS available and install that in Safe mode.

    Otherwise in safe mode, go back to Windows 8
    Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > 'Go back to Windows 8'

    Hi AWBLakeStLou,

    Sorry for the trouble. May I know if you were able to reinstall Norton back on the PC? If not, you could try the steps mentioned here: www.norton.com/install to install the latest version of Norton Security. The issue could be due to the Video card drivers. I would suggest updating the same and check.

    Follow the steps to update the Display driver:

    1. Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
    2. Expand ‘Display Adapters’.
    3. Right-click on the Display Adapter listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’.
    4. Select the option to Automatically search for the updated driver software.
    5. Restart the computer after its updated and verify.
